It’s my passion, and my purpose and nothing in this word makes me happier than creating and designing programs that are exciting, fun, andtransformational, but that also meet the needs of the wonderful young women here at GRLZ Radio!! I was born and raised in Boston, I attended Boston Latin School and UMASS Boston, where I majored in Sociology and Youth Development and Non Profit Leadership. Tekeisha Meade, Program & Communications Coordinator
Hello everyone, my name is Tekeisha, and I am excited to be the Program and Communications Coordinator at GRLZradio! I was born and raised in Boston, MA. I attended Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter School and received my BA in English, Creative Writing with a minor in Graphic Design from Salem State University. I have always been a creative person with a passion for writing, poetry, and art. And I also feel that programs like GRLZ Radio are essential for the growth and development for teen girls, which is one of the main reasons that I am here! In my free time, I am a blogger and YouTuber (AmbitionWrites), showcasing all things related to beauty, from hair to makeup, etc. I am more than happy to use my creative background to help the girls unleash their imagination, and I look forward to working with everyone!
Hey everybody!!! My name is Danielle, also known as radio personality/event host Ms HotSauce and I am so excited to be working as the Broadcast Manager for GRLZradio. I attended Belmont High School then went on to Andrews University to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Allied Health. I have worked in radio for the last 7 years, and I have hosted and produced many radio shows all over Boston and beyond! Radio is my passion, and I almost can’t believe that I have the chance to mix what I love to do with the creativity and energy of our amazing teen GRLZ every day! GRLZ Radio is more than just my job – and I feel so excited to come in everyday and train and mentor my teens as they take over the airwaves! Personally, I have always been an entertainer, (or a “clown” as my mother likes to call me, lol), and over time, I’ve acknowledged my special gift for making people feel better, making them laugh, and making them look forward to something brighter. That is what radio has done for ME, and I’m happy to continue to share this gift with the world!
